1937 These hoes be actin up.

Exodus 20:12 says that you should honor thy father and thy mother; that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Sula did not follow as so when she came back from Nashville. She was very disrespectful, even threatening to kill her own Grandmother, someone who took care for her as a child. I feel like that is very low and disgusting to dishonor such caring people. Sula is a lot of things in this story, but i do not think that she is a home-wrecker in this situation.Although she is a whore  Nel is a little childish for not standing up for what's hers, however, Jude had a role to play in this predicament as well but he failed to do so. Holding in your emotions is not good for you at all and it certainly was not for this poor woman Nel, who had been forced to marry this man. I do not think that it was Jude is wrong for what happened but it was not entirely his fault. He is a man with hormones and just like other men and myself, sometimes we think with our wrong heads in certain situations. In Sula's case, I feel like she was ignorant to the fact that Nel and Jude had something great going on. Sula's own mother was a floozy so it was only right that she would follow her footsteps.
