Sula has been through a lot of men. She has more than enough experience in my opinion. She goes through men and does not even get attached emotionally. It is like she is doing it not only for the feeling but because that is the only thing she knew, the only thing she grew up around. Sula has her ways, so does Ajax. Ajax, to me, is somewhat of a player. He has a lot of women to chose from, well after they beat each other up over him, those remaining few. I feel like his mother taught him well about respecting women and he might have took some of that into consideration, but a man is going to do what he feels and what he think is the right way. When he brought those two milk bottles to Sula's house he knew what he was doing, he wanted something she was more than willing to give up because she thought it would just be another man. Little did she know my man Ajax had that thang for her and she fell in love. Sula fell in love with the fact that Ajax had more than what was needed at the time. Ajax, being the player he was felt like he can not wife a floozy.
